Chili Skunk

Mephitis Chilensis

A foot and a half in total length, the Chili Skunk is deep chestnut brown with two white side streaks that unite on the shoulders and join again in a crescent at the back of the head, where they form a ridge of standing hairs. Its tail is white mixed with brown, the brown increasing toward the rump, while the nose, cheeks, and feet are buff.
