Eira furriginea

An aberrant member assuming somewhat the livery of a glutton, it retains the lengthened body and otter head of its genus and measures about four feet from nose to tail, though far more muscular in structure. Excepting the sepia black extremities and tail, the whole fur is a fulvous chestnut brown, and the only known specimen, perfectly plantigrade, was in the London Museum.
