Shining Panda

Ailurus fulgens

Equal in size to a large cat and clad in dense fur, the Shining Panda is golden fulvous above, redder on the shoulder and dark sepia below, with a short head whitened on the sides and forehead. Its rather long, very bushy tail is obscurely barred with brown, and it inhabits the forests of the lower Himalaya range.
