Genetta tigrina?

About the size of a domestic cat but longer in body, it is rufous white, clearer below, with black about the eyes, an irregular black bar from ear to shoulder, an interrupted spinal streak, six large spots in two oblique rows, and large blotches on loins and thighs. The strong fore paws bear an armed thumb placed as in the cat, the tail showing nine black rings besides a black tip; brought from one of the great Asiatic Islands.
