Usine Phalanger
Phalangista ursina
A strongly built phalanger rather larger than a cat, with limbs strong, ears hidden in the fur, and long, soft, very woolly fur of brown black, most hairs tipped brownish white so that white prevails on the hinder back, head, and under parts. The tail’s basal half is furred, the apical half naked and tubercled, the claws very large, the head and body about twenty inches, and it abounds in the northern Celebes, where its flesh is eaten.
