Dolphin with White Mark over the Eye

Delphinus Superciliosus

A very beautiful small dolphin some four feet long, brilliant blackish blue above and silvery white on the sides and belly, with a tolerably long snout set off by a deep furrow and an acutely pointed dorsal fin behind the middle. It is marked by a large white streak over the eye reaching to the front and a white ribbon along the sides near the tail; observed off Cape Horn.
