Cethosia Cyane

Nearly four inches across with the whole margin deeply dentated and notched white; the forewings are fulvous toward the base spotted black, the outer half brownish-black crossed by an oblique white band with horse-shoe marks and white lunules. The secondary wings are fulvous-yellow with three transverse rows of black spots, some white-ringed; beneath all is reddish-yellow with corresponding markings, the body fulvous above, found on the coast of Malabar.
