Simpai

Semnopithecus melalophos

A native of Java and Sumatra, first noticed by Sir Stamford Raffles, this monkey is remarkable for the flatness of its face and the size of its brow. The adult measures about one foot six inches to the insertion of the tail, while the tail alone extends between two and three feet, though few records of its habits or disposition survive.
