Tithys Redstart

The Tithys Redstart is a rare occasional visitant to Britain, chiefly southern, oddly procured mostly in late autumn or winter though a summer migrant on the Continent, where it haunts rocky defiles and walls, breeds in clefts, and feeds on berries, fruits, and insects. The male has black chin, throat, and breast shading to bluish grey, dark grey head and back, and orange red rump and outer tail, while the female is yellowish grey.
