Magellanic Aguara Fox

Cerdocyon Magellanicus

The Magellanic aguara fox is greyish varied with black on the back, with a black cross band on the nape and upper tail, a pale yellowish head, bright fulvous ear-backs, nape, limb-sides, and under tail, and white chin, throat, chest, belly, and front of legs. With a head eight inches, body twenty inches, and tail twelve inches, it is robust and low in stature like the fox of Norway, inhabiting the Magellanic Straits.
