The Toothless Whale of Havre

A young individual fifteen feet long and seven and a half in girth, largest about the middle, with a round, straight muzzle resembling a bird’s beak, a large eye, and very small pectoral and dorsal fins. General grey, dark above and whitish beneath, it bears neither baleen nor visible teeth, though a few rudimentary ones lurk in the lower jaw; exceedingly rare, its habits and habitat are unknown.
