Color me Textured: March 17, 2005; When I became interested in fractal art and started researching it, I found plenty to keep me occupied for quite a while. What grabbed my attention and has yet to let it go is the level of detail the fractal artists put into their work and how "real" it made their images look. That's what intially drew me to this form of art and I wanted to do it too. What's possible still amazes me but now I've developed my own methods of detailing my work.
IE7: February 16, 2005; As if I could resist mentioning the recent announcement of IE7. Just yesterday at the RSA Security conference, Bill Gates announced that a beta the next version of Internet Explorer will be made available this summer.
Fractal Philosophizing: January 7, 2005; If you asked the person sitting next to you what fractal art was, there's a fairly good chance that they would cock their head to one side and look at you quizzically. It is this response with which I am greeted when I answer the often-asked question of the hobbies I enjoy.
