Large-Headed Sapajou

Cebus monachus

Received from an unknown part of America, this Sapajou is most striking for the size of its head, an effect heightened by the short, shorn-like white hairs covering it. The breast, belly, cheeks, and whole front before the arms are yellowish-white, the fore-arms, hinder limbs, and tail black, while a mixture of black and brown in irregular patches covers the back and rest of the body.
