Decussated Horse

The dun or tan stock never attains the stature of the black or grey, being lower and longer with slender limbs, clean joints, and smaller hoofs, known by a black streak along the spine, long mane, and black limbs. Typical of the wild horses still extant in Asia, cunning, provident, and surefooted, attached to rocky wooded ground, its many races and ponies show hardihood, sobriety, and speed.
