Domestic Pig

A fair average specimen of the common domestic kind, originally of Irish stock on the dam’s side, this sow was about two years old and bred in Fife. One of her first litter grew strangely attached to a bull dog, following its master for half a dozen miles, swimming after thrown objects to dispute the prize, and always sleeping beside its canine companion.
