Diard’s Cat (Female)

Felis Diardii

Diard’s Cat, three feet long with a sixteen-inch tail, is yellowish-grey with the yellow strongest on face, breast, and limbs, a bold black dorsal line bordered with yellow, and sides marked by pale-centred patches double-margined with black, recalling the ocelot. The ample-furred tail is grey above, yellower beneath, and clouded with dull black, while a smaller companion specimen, a probable young male with a longer tail, is more yellow throughout, both received from Java.
