Servaline Cat

Felis servalina

The Servaline Cat, an apparently adult female from India, has fur longer and more wiry than the small cats of Lower India, fifteen inches in body with a tail of ten and a half, the height exceeding ten inches. Its pale tawny ground, paler beneath and white on chin and throat, is marked with few roundish brown spots, faint head-lines, and barred legs, the heels deep brown as in the booted lynx and the ears tufted as in the lynxes.
