Robin Flycatcher
Muscicapa rubecola
A very remarkable bird in size and colour closely resembling the robin, with a straight bill abruptly bent at the tip, a broad but not dilated base, rictus bristled as in European flycatchers, moderate wings, slightly rounded tail, and rather long pale tarsi. The blackish bill and pale legs complete its description; the only known specimen, from Pondichery, rests in the Royal Museum at Paris, total length about five and a half inches.
