Mocking Water-Chat
Fluvicola nengeta
A common bird with cinereous grey upper plumage, deep black primaries, secondaries, and spurious wings, the ninth and tenth quills entirely white with a white band at the base of the others, and a black tail tipped with greyish white. The lores and maxillary stripe are black above a white line, the under plumage white but grey on breast and flanks, and the total length is about nine inches.
