Springer or Springbock

Antilope euchore

One of the most beautiful and numerous antelopes of southern Africa, the Springbock is fulvous brown above and white beneath, the colours sharply parted by a dark brown band along the flanks. Its most curious feature is two folds of skin from tail to croup, which dilate when bounding to expose a large white triangular patch edged with dark streaks; it springs to about eight feet in flight and migrates in immense herds.
