Pradell, in a biographical note to this specimen, is called el primer inventor en España de esta Arte.
The peticano, lectura, texto, and entredos were the first types that the elder Pradell finished. The body of the letter is, in some cases, large compared with its ascenders. The descenders are generally short, which partly accounts for the rolling look of the fonts in large sizes.
